About Me

I'm Michael Bortolin, a REALTOR® with One Percent Realty serving the Lower Mainland — New Westminster, Tri-Cities, Burnaby, Vancouver, and Ridge Meadows. My background in sales gives me an edge when it comes to negotiation, pricing strategy, and getting the best possible outcome for my clients.

I work with sellers who want full-service representation without the inflated commission. That means professional photography, MLS exposure, open houses, and hands-on support from listing to closing — for just 1%.

I also help buyers find the right property at the right price, guiding you through every step from your first viewing to getting the keys. Whether you're selling your home or buying your next one, I'm here to make the process straightforward and keep more money in your pocket.

Brentwood Park

Your Guide to Brentwood Park Real Estate

Brentwood Park is the urban centre of North Burnaby and one of the most active condo markets in Metro Vancouver. Anchored by The Amazing Brentwood, a master-planned community with shopping, dining, and a wave of new high-rise towers, plus SkyTrain at the door, Brentwood has transformed into a full urban hub. If you want walkable, transit-connected high-rise living with everything at your feet and prices below Vancouver, Brentwood is one of the top choices in the region.

A Quick Look at the Brentwood Park Market

Brentwood Park is overwhelmingly a condo market, ranging from established towers and low-rises from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s to the new high-rises of The Amazing Brentwood and surrounding developments. Some townhomes and a pocket of older detached homes exist on the edges. The new-construction wave has reshaped pricing and supply. For specific building or floor pricing, reach out and I'll pull live numbers.

Who Lives in Brentwood Park

A young, urban, diverse mix, professionals, first-time buyers, downsizers, and investors, plus a meaningful renter population in the towers. The new developments have drawn a steady inflow of younger residents. The character is dense, urban, and increasingly vibrant as the master plan fills in.

Schools and Family Life

Brentwood Park Elementary serves the area, with secondary students attending Alpha Secondary or nearby Burnaby schools depending on address. Family life centres on the new public spaces and plazas at The Amazing Brentwood, plus nearby parks. For larger green space, Burnaby Lake and the Brentwood-area parks are short trips. Many families here are in the larger condo and townhome units rather than detached homes.

Getting Around

Brentwood is one of the best-connected neighbourhoods in Burnaby. Brentwood Town Centre and Gilmore stations on the Millennium Line put SkyTrain at the door, with downtown Vancouver around 25 minutes and Metrotown, Lougheed, and Coquitlam easily reached. Bus connections along Lougheed, Willingdon, and Hastings are frequent. Drivers have direct access to Highway 1 via the Willingdon interchange. Walk Score around the town centre is high.

What's Nearby

The Amazing Brentwood is the headline, a major shopping and dining destination with new public plazas right at the SkyTrain. Whole Foods and a wide range of retail and restaurants are on site. Burnaby Lake Regional Park is a short drive for trails and nature. Hastings Street's Burnaby Heights shopping is nearby. Metrotown and Lougheed Town Centre are short SkyTrain rides for additional shopping.

The Housing Stock

Heavily condo. The Amazing Brentwood and surrounding developments have added a large supply of new high-rise concrete towers with full amenity packages. Established towers and low-rises from the 80s through 2000s fill in the broader neighbourhood. Some townhomes and a shrinking pocket of older detached homes sit on the edges, with detached lots increasingly assembled for density. Construction is ongoing as the master plan completes.

Recent Market Activity

Brentwood Park has been one of the most active and closely watched condo markets in the region. The new high-rise supply has steadily added inventory and reshaped pricing. New-construction units, presales, and resale in the newer towers all see strong activity. The lifestyle package, SkyTrain plus a major town centre, drives consistent demand.

Is Brentwood Park Right for You?

It's right for you if you want walkable, transit-connected high-rise living with a major town centre at your door. It's right for you if you're a first-time buyer, downsizer, or investor. It's right for you if you want urban amenities at prices below Vancouver.

It's not for you if you want detached living or a quiet neighbourhood, Brentwood is dense and busy. Ongoing construction means dust, noise, and crane traffic for years as the master plan completes. Building selection matters, newer towers carry warranty and presale considerations, while older towers need depreciation report and contingency fund review.
